• THE DETERMINATION OF NIGERIAN YOUTH TO PUT AN END TO SARS
For days, Twitter has been awash with hashtags on the END SARS protest by Nigerian Youth. Prior to taking such action, there were a lot of shared experiences on the harassment and torture the SARS (Special Anti-Robbery Squad) put Nigerians, especially the youth through. It is apparent that these officials are not in to work in the interest of the people. They are not in to protect the people of Nigeria as they should. They were given the mandate to fight crime in Nigeria but have resorted to extorting money from young people, torturing them and firmly believing that NOTHING […]

  • LIGHT BEYOND HER VIEW
It’s that time of the year again. Franca has to apply to write the Ghana school of law entrance exam again. It’s been tough, exhausting and disturbing. This is her third try. “What am I doing wrong?”, she wondered. She studies like her life depends on it. During her LLB days, she was that exceptional law student whom her colleagues referred to as a walking case book. So truth is, her life sort of depends on it. Everyone looked up to her. Incessant questions from colleagues who gained admission to the law school and those already called to the bar […]

Congratulations to all my colleagues as well. We made it!!!!!! At a certain point, I almost gave up because I felt I needed a change of course. I got sad a couple of times when i could not comprehend what i was trying to study. You know that feeling eh? Don’t get me wrong. I’m not a lazy girl. But studying the LLB right after high school was nerve racking for all the reasons […]
  • THIS NATION IS BLEEDING!
Originally posted in 2017 here. This week didn’t end on a good note. Why? Because on Monday, 29th May, 2017, we lost a brother, friend, husband, father and a fellow citizen. It was a devastating news which hit this country, Ghana. Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama was molested and killed by some thick-skinned people at Obuasi-Denkyira in the Central Region. Their Reason? They thought he was an armed robber. We lost an innocent soul whose crime was only to protect his fellow citizens and protect our natural resources. Surprisingly, some people want to score political points out of this mishap. Which […]
